I Bleed Words Sometimes

Foolish

You think I’m foolish,
I do not comprehend…
The things that transpire behind my back.

Let me tell you this,
I know,
I understand.
But it’s good to be foolish,
Than to be wise.
For this world sees not with kindness
On those who fight,

Sadistic ways.
Test of our patience.

Let me be stupid,
Alone.
And away from all the games you play.
You, who claim to be mine.

I seek not your approval.
I seek not your love.
I seek the stupidity of an infamous fool.

The above lines were my favorite. Sometime better to be alone than be played a fool. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

    • Thank you John,
What you call ‘excellent poetry’ some call ‘self pity’.
But then again, It’s my own decision to bare my crude thoughts in their entirety out in the open.

      Appreciate you stopping by πŸ™‚

      • Pity, sadness and regret. Without knowing them. We need to be locked away and safe. Better to test life and hope for a good landings. I have more sad tales than good. I wouldn’t trade any of them away.
