Love, Is It Over Yet?
Is it over yet?
The ordeal of love?
Or do I need to continue smiling.
Continue defying,
The state of my heart.
Is it over yet?
The patient wait,
for nothingness,
for emptiness.
for hollowness?
Is it over yet?
Your condescending laugh,
echoing through my head,
resounding through my soul.
creeping through my body?
Is it over yet?
your pretence,
your facade,
your false promises?
I guess,
It just isn’t over, until you’re over.
My 18th Contribution to NaPoWriMo 2013
And never will it be over. Sigh

Ummm, this spoke to me. The waiting and not knowing if its over feeling it slowly die.
Thats what I got, anyway, and it made me sad.
Well done.

That’s exactly what I was trying to paint.
I’ve just come out of a similar experience.
But still trying to gain my balance, I stumbled pretty bad.

For a poem drawn from an intense personal experience, it is simply worded and quick to the point. It gives one only a glimpse of the surge of questions inside. Well done here.
